Description
Objectives

A 5-year programme mainly in the distribution and production facilities of the company. It encompasses a large number of smaller projects for refurbishment, increased automation, adding new water treatment processes, restructuring water production and distribution as well as installation if thermal storage systems in large buildings.

  • Continuing improvement of drinking water quality
  • Optimisation of groundwater abstraction
  • Increased safety and efficiency in the provision of water services
  • Energy efficient heating of buildings

Environmental aspects
Procurement

The project reduces the impact of the provision of water services on the environment; no adverse environmental impact is anticipated.

The works will be carried out on the basis of competitive bidding, in line with the company’s bidding procedures that are aligned with Dutch legislation and the EU procurement directives.
