Description
Objectives

Global loans from risk capital resources for the financing of SME-investments in Barbados, Belize, Guyana, Jamaica, Surinam, the OECS countries and Trinidad & Tobago. Sectors excluded are real estate and other sectors traditionally excluded from EIB financing.

To support financial sector development in the regions mentioned above and encourage development of the private sector.

The intermediary will be required to pay particular attention, during the appraisal of investments, to assessing environmental impacts and ensuring that appropriate measures are incorporated as necessary in project design and implementation.
