The present evaluation covers the European Investment Bank (EIB)'s loan portfolio for solid waste management projects financed in the period 1984-2000. It was carried out during 2001. The evaluation examines the Bank's activities within the European Union, with some consideration of loans to solid waste management projects outside the Member States. Published in June 2002.
