The European Investment Bank is active in around 50 equity funds in Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean and the Pacific, with a total value of nearly EUR 5bn. These funds represent another way for our financing to reach thousands of small and medium-sized businesses that need investment to grow, create jobs and meet the demands of evolving populations.
