    Description

    The objective of the Emergency Response to COVID-19 Program for Indonesia is to prevent, detect and respond to the threat posed by COVID-19 and strengthen the national systems for public health preparedness. The programme is led by the World Bank and co-financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

    Objectives

    The project supports the Indonesian government with containing the COVID-19 pandemic through the deployment of emergency response and pandemic preparedness interventions (including vaccine purchasing and vaccination campaigns) and implementing health sector resilience measures.
