Description
Financing of small scale projects carried out by municipalities and public or private sector entities, in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the environment, health, knowledge economy and energy sectors.
Objectives
The proposed global loan is dedicated for financing of small scale projects mainly in the environmental sector and knowledge economy. Working in cooperation with NRW BANK, the EIB financing will reach a large number of investment projects that normally would not qualify for direct EIB funding. A minimum of 60% of the loan will be allocated to projects qualifying for EIB financing under objective “Knowledge Economy” and “Environmental Protection”.
