Description
The project concerns the construction of a new second runway including taxiways, aprons and related infrastructure at Leipzig-Halle airport in Saxony, Eastern Germany.
Objectives
The new infrastructure is a prerequisite for the construction and operation of a major logistics centre and airfreight hub at airport Leipzig-Halle. The project is part of the Trans European Networks (TEN). The aim of this project is the support public infrastructure development in an assisted area.
