Description

Financing of the investment costs of well-defined environmental projects across Hungary in the water sector. The proposed project would be supported as well by a significant Cohesion Fund contribution.

Objectives

The different investment schemes aim at (i) improving systems for the collection, treatment and disposal of municipal sewerage and sludge, (ii) providing the concerned population with enhanced service and product quality (e.g. drinking water) and (iii) assist the authorities to comply with the requirements of the environmental “acquis”.
