Objectives

Loan to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps in Spain and other EU countries. This is an operation under the EU Programme Loan for SMEs and Mid-caps.

At least 70% of the loan amount will be used for SME financing. The rest, up to 30% of the total EIB loan amount, could be used in small and medium-sized investment projects in eligible sectors carried out by mid-cap enterprises (up to 3 000 employees). It is foreseen that about 20% of the funds will be extended in convergence areas in Spain.
