Objectives

A loan to Cassa depositi e prestiti S.p.A. ("CDP") aimed at partially supporting the initiative of the Republic of Italy provided under Law no. 135 of 7th August 2012 for the reconstruction and restoration of residential and industrial buildings affected by the earthquake of May 2012 in Emilia and neighbouring provinces.

Improving access to term finance at favourable conditions, the proposed loan is fully consistent with the EU objectives. It provides the Bank’s support to eligible projects promoted by SMEs and public entities in the area affected by the earthquakes.
