Credit line focusing on small-scale investment projects in the areas of environmental protection and sustainable communities.
The proposed credit line intends to lower the funding cost for small-scale investment projects through the co-operation with BayernLB. The operation will promote relevant EU objectives by supporting eligible investment projects that otherwise could not be reached by EIB directly due to their limited size. BayernLB has confirmed its interest to support the final beneficiaries and investments in the targeted market segments and is already in the process of identifying operations to be financed from the proceeds of the EIB credit line.
All eligible projects financed under the proposed global loan will have to comply with the relevant EU and national regulations.
All eligible projects financed under the proposed global loan must comply with the relevant national and the EU regulations.
Before financing approval by the Board of Directors, and before loan signature, projects are under appraisal and negotiation. The data provided on this page is therefore indicative and cannot be considered to represent official EIB policy (see also the Explanatory notes).
