Objectives

Investement in the A senior tranche of EFSE.

EFSE aims to complement financial support provided by the local financial sector and by the development finance institutions active in the region through the sustainable provision of additional finance to micro, small and medium size enterprises.

Environmental covenants already agreed by other reputable IFIs (EBRD, KfW and IFC) who have similar environmental procedures to the EIB, will be inserted in the Bank’s legal documentation.
