Enìa S.p.A.
The EIB project will concern a part of the 2007-2012 investment plan of Enìa in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia and Piacenza regarding water and wastewater schemes.
The main objective of the project is the compliance with the water quality and service standards set by the EC directives.
The project will contribute towards the improvement of the environmental conditions in the provinces of Parma, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia by providing better water supply and wastewater collection and treatment services. It is hence eligible under Art 267 (c), Environment.
The Bank will require the promoter to ensure that contracts for the implementation of the project are tendered in accordance with the relevant applicable EU procurement Directives (Dir 93/38, 2004/17/EEC), with publication of tender notices in the EU Official Journal, as and where appropriate.
