Description
Objectives

The project consists of the expansion of runway and terminal capacity of Barcelona airport and is part of the Barcelona El Prat master plan.

The project will enable Barcelona airport to accommodate future traffic growth and consolidate its position as a regional and international hub.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

Compliance with EU environmental directives and national laws will be verified during appraisal.

Procurement procedures applied by the promoter are in compliance with Council Directives applicable to public authorities’ procurement, and national legislation.
