Objectives

Restructuring and optimisation of the retail distribution network of PKN in Poland.

The project will improve the ability of the promoter to meet consumer demand in an increasingly competitive and sophisticated market. The modernisation of fuel delivery and monitoring systems will reduce atmospheric emissions and reduce risks of local pollution.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

Due diligence will cover compliance with applicable environmental regulations for production plants and operations, including verification whether an environmental project evaluation was required to obtain construction and operation permits, and if such evaluation included an Environmental Impact Assessment Study.

The promoter is a private company to which EU Directives on procurement do not apply. The promoter usually carries out competitive enquiries among potential suppliers for goods and services, as is common in the industry.
