A two-year investment programme, mainly in the distribution and production facilities of the company. It encompasses a large number of smaller projects aimed at the building of a new water laboratory, replacing old equipment, adding new capacity, increasing production efficiency and/or improving water quality.
Improvement of water supply services to further guarantee the high quality of drinking water, thereby fully complying with the latest EU directives. In addition it will contribute to an optimisation fo production and distribution techniques leading to lower drinking water prices, as was recommended in the VEWIN benchmarking report for the water sector.
The project is implemented mainly to improve the environment; no adverse environmental impact is anticipated. To be verified during appraisal.
The promoter follows the EU public tendering procedures for works, services and supplies markets.

Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
