Objectives

Global loan facility to co-finance eligible investment projects in the wider Caribbean i.e. ACP countries in the Caribbean that are signatories to the Cotonou agreement.

Provision of longer term financing for smaller and medium sized enterprises.

Procurement

The intermediary, Clico Investment Bank, will provide the EIB with a summary of environmental impacts and mitigation action for each project submitted for financing under the global loan in order to ensure that projects comply with environmental policies and standards.

The Bank’s standard procurement guidelines applicable to global loans operations will apply.
