Objectives

The project concerns the 2002-2009 multiannual investment programme (PPI) of the University Hospital (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire, CHU) of Lyons. The key elements of this programme are (a) the construction of a new Paediatrics, Gynaecology & Obstetrics Hospital, (b) the restructuring of the Lyons South Hospital and (c) the restructuring of the Croix-Rousse Hospital. Other related works will be undertaken at a later stage.

Modernisation of the Lyons CHU's hospital structures, reorganisation of its medical services around three principal poles (North, South, East) with anticipated improvements in quality and efficiency, closure of the two most outdated healthcare establishments.
