Objectives

The project concerns the construction of two relief motorways forming a greater outer ring road of Lisbon.

The project will contribute to the fluidity of traffic around the Lisbon conurbation, with benefits in terms of travel times, vehicle operating costs and safety.

The project is designed to meet all relevant environmental laws and regulation.

Award of works, equipment supply and services contracts will comply with national and EU legislation.
