The European Investment Bank will hold in Brno (CZ) a conference on local and regional government financing addressing public and private stakeholders from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The conference is designed for those responsible for managing the finances and resources of regional and local authorities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and will promote awareness and understanding of the EIB's financing and the numerous benefits the cooperation with the EIB may bring along. The aim of this forum is to give those attending a clear picture on the opportunities in the project finance including funding criteria, project structure, loan features, co-financing with local banks, procurement procedures, environment procedures and financial products.
About the event:
The EIB will gather at this conference experts from the EIB, local and regional government officials, financiers from the private sector and discuss innovative ways of funding municipal projects in a large number of sectors including:

The one-day conference will be opened by Ivan Pilip, Vice-President of the European Investment Bank. Speeches and presentations will be followed by panel discussions and a series of technical workshops on innovative finance solutions.
