EIB Vice-President Philippe de Fontaine Vive invited Brussels-based civil society organisations (CSO) to a Briefing on the Bank's 2006 Results and 2007 Perspectives. Vice-President Philippe de Fontaine Vive is responsible for the Bank's relationship with CSOs.
The Briefing took place in the International Press Center (IPC) - Résidence Palace (Room Maelbeek), 155 Rue de la Loi on Friday the 9th of February, one day after the Bank's Annual Press Conference. The Briefing confirms the importance that the EIB gives to its relationship with civil society organizations taking a particular in interest in the European Union and EIB.
Some 30 CSO delegates and observers from international bodies participated. The meeting started at noon with the Vice-President's presentation, followed by a questions & answers session.
