The EIB is organising its second Africa Day, this time in partnership with the African Development Bank, and taking place at their headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on Monday 21st November. This year, we will be exploring the themes that are vital for Africa to fulfil its potential, by creating good jobs for young people across a range of sectors, and the crucial role to be played

Confirmed speakers of the conference include Daniel Kablan Duncan, Prime Minister, Côte d’Ivoire; Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina, President, African Development Bank (AfDB); Werner Hoyer, President, European Investment Bank (EIB); we will also be welcoming prominent academics and leading representatives of the African business and banking world.

AfDB and EIB will bring together a number of experts on Tuesday 22 November to discuss individual projects and to provide hands-on advice for your projects related to the following sectors :
- Innovation
- Infrastructure
- Health
- Education
- Agribusiness
Venue: Hotel Sofitel, Boulevard Hassan, Abidjan 08
Registrations for these meetings will be taken during conference accreditation on 21 November.
Delegates must have a valid picture ID and are required to submit to a security screening process to gain entrance to the conference building.
