Objectives

Investment in a fund aimed at providing equity and quasi-equity finance to SMEs in Madagascar. The fund, initiated by IFC and the Republic of South Africa SME financier, Business Partners, will complement its funding with business advisory services.

The proposed operation offers an innovative and flexible range of risk bearing instruments to small entrepreneurs and will thus support the creation of jobs and help to improve the general economic outlook in Madagascar.
