Credit line for the financing of (i) SMEs and (ii) small and medium-scale infrastructure projects undertaken by public and private promoters.

Objectifs

The present operation is the first operation with Piraeus Bank and forms part of the increased interest by Greek banks in accessing EIB funds for the financing of SMEs and small and medium size infrastructure projects. It is furthermore the fourth credit line aiming also at infrastructure carried mainly by municipalities in Greece, a market which appears to be of growing importance.
