I&P Afrique Entrepreneurs is a €53.9 million private equity fund that takes minority stakes in SMEs and microfinance institutions (MFIs) in sub-Saharan Africa, with a strong presence in West Africa, Central Africa and the Indian Ocean. The SMEs are generally start-ups or growth companies in need of operational or strategic support. The MFIs targeted may be established or totally new financial institutions. The fund is managed by I&P Gestion, a Mauritius-based management company advised by I&P’s Paris team with local offices in Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Madagascar.
