The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group and the European Commission are stepping up joint support for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) gigafactories in Europe to bolster EU technological independence and competitiveness.  

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is setting up Space TechEU, its first dedicated financing programme for the European space sector, as part of its TechEU initiative. The space financing initiative was announced earlier today at the European Space Agency`s triannual Council of Ministers meeting in Bremen.

The European Investment Bank Group (EIB) has recruited ACER Director Christian Pilgaard Zinglersen as Deputy Secretary General and to head its Permanent Representation in Brussels. As Deputy Secretary General, the position also holds responsibility for the EIB Economics and Group Strategy departments.
