The European Investment Bank (EIB) today launched the sixth edition of its Climate Survey. These are some of the most striking results of this annual survey conducted in August and September 2023. Running since 2018, the EIB Climate Survey offers insights into the climate change-related views of people in major economies around the world, with more than 30 000 respondents in the European Union, the United States, China, India, Japan, the United Kingdom, UAE, Canada and South Korea. The EIB is the lending arm of the European Union and the world’s largest multilateral lender for climate action projects.

La Banque européenne d’investissement (BEI) et la ville de Zagreb ont annoncé un nouvel accord relatif à une assistance locale au titre du Mécanisme européen d’assistance technique pour les projets énergétiques locaux (ELENA), dans le but d’améliorer l’efficacité énergétique et de réduire les émissions de carbone de bâtiments publics de la capitale. La subvention relevant d’ELENA aidera les autorités municipales à préparer la rénovation énergétique de 50 bâtiments publics, qui passera notamment par l’installation de panneaux photovoltaïques et de bornes de recharge pour véhicules électriques.

The second part of the 2022-2023 European Investment Bank (EIB) Climate Survey explores people’s views on climate change in a rapidly changing world. The results from this release focus on people’s individual behaviour and the actions they are taking to combat climate change.
