        The Inspectorate General groups together, under the authority of the Inspector General, three independent accountability functions: evaluation of EIB Group activities, investigations into prohibited conduct, and the complaints mechanism. In addition, the Inspector General chairs the EIB Procurement Complaints Committee handling procurement complaints.
