BPI Kenya SME Fund aims at providing loans, equity and quasi-equity finance to SMEs in Kenya. The fund, initiated by IFC, Business Partners International and the Republic of South Africa SME financier, makes small investments (USD50k – 500k) in young Kenyan SMEs operating across all sectors, using investment instruments developed by Business Partners for the SME sector which employ primarily quasi-equity and debt structures. The BPI Kenya SME Fund is one of several managed by BPI across Africa.
