Guide and supervise the detailed engineering designs undertaken by company. Review, assess, revise, as needed and approve the civil works proposed in feasibility studies for irrigation investments with regard to their needs, technical feasibility and preliminary cost estimation, including the identification of alternative, more suitable structural solutions. Supervise implementation progress of civil works and coordinate activities of construction works supervisors. Lead the preparation of cost estimates, technical specifications, bill of quantities for various irrigation facilities and, with the procurement specialists. Support in development of Terms of References and Tender Documentations. Participate in bid openings, evaluation, and contract negotiations, as relevant.
