Complaint
On 15 November 2017, the EIB Complaints Mechanism (EIB-CM) received a complaint alleging that the project will have major negative impacts on the population, the environment and the economy. The complainant alleges that the newly militarized situation in town has affected residents' daily lives.
The complainant states that the project is being forced upon the population.
EIB-CM action
Since the project is still under appraisal, EIB-CM has transferred the complainant's message to the operational services of the EIB, which will consider the complainant's concerns and provide a formal response.
