Description
The 2025 Joint Summary Report on Multilateral Development Banks’ Climate Finance is published here as a stand-alone document highlighting the key figures and main trends for the reporting year. The data show that MDBs have exceeded their collective 2025 climate finance targets set in 2019 and remain on track towards their 2030 ambitions. From 2024 to 2025, climate finance in low- and middle-income countries grew 21% to almost $103 billion while total climate finance across all MDB operations increased by 19% to nearly $163 billion.
More granular data, detailed breakdowns and the full set of joint methodologies can be found on the new MDBs’ Climate Finance Dashboard.
