The directorate advises on legal matters. It is responsible for (i) drafting and negotiating project-related legal documentation and, when requested, other contractual documentation; (ii) providing legal advice on the Bank's activity, its organisation, the interpretation of the Statute and other legal texts; and (iii) defending the Bank's interests in any litigation that concerns it.
