EIB Project Carbon Footprint Methodologies provides methodologies and guidance to EIB staff on how to calculate the carbon footprint of the investment projects financed by the EIB.

In 2025, the EIB Group – comprising the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) – provided around €305 million in financing in Denmark. A substantial share of this support was directed towards strategic and dual-use infrastructure, as well as access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises.
