The project concerns the construction of a new aromatics complex that will include a 400 000 tonnes per year para-xylene (PX) plant, to be located at the promoter’s existing site, integrated with refining operations, and a 600 000 tonnes per year teraphthalic acid plant (PTA) to be located at a chemical site owned by a promoter’s subsidiary.
Objectifs
Improving the margin of the integrated refining operations upstream, while expanding the promoter’s position in petrochemicals.
