Development of a large aircraft engine (“Trent XWB”), integrating a number of innovative technologies.

Objectifs

The project would contribute to furthering private sector investment in research and development and innovation, as well as to developing European experience and expertise in science and technology. The project is hence eligible under Article 267 (c) in relation to i2i of the EC Treaty.
