The Moroccan Infrastructure Fund (“MIF”) was established in December 2006, focusing on infrastructure investments, either in new projects or in the improvement/extension of existing projects or companies. The fund was fully invested by end of 2009, with two investments. The fund is managed by Moroccan Infrastructure Management, a joint venture between US-based Emerging Capital Partners and Morocco-based Attijari Invest. Attijari Invest is the private equity arm of Attijariwafa Bank, Morocco’s largest bank.
