The European Investment Bank (EIB) is supporting Ukraine’s state-owned power company Centrenergo with €350,000 in technical assistance to develop a decarbonisation plan.
A primary school in Hostomel, Kyiv oblast, reopened today following a major European Union-financed renovation necessitated by damage inflicted during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Primary School No. 1 has almost double the capacity as well as energy and digital upgrades as a result of the €613,000 project.
European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice-President Karl Nehammer will visit Ukraine over the next four days to advance cooperation on recovery, energy security and infrastructure development. The 26-29 April visit will cover the regions of Kyiv, Lviv and Volyn and include meetings with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.
