The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing up to €20 million to the City of Košice to support sustainable urban development in Slovakia’s second-largest city. The funds will enable the city to accelerate the implementation of prepared investments and bring them together into a coherent programme for the modernisation of municipal infrastructure.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is committing €30 million to Rohlik Group, a pioneering Czech online grocery retailer, to support its development of advanced automation and artificial intelligence. The operation tops up the initial EIB scale-up financing of €90 million to Rohlik two years ago, which facilitated its expansion in several European markets.

Les entreprises de taille intermédiaire de Tchéquie et de Slovaquie pourront solliciter des prêts à des conditions avantageuses au titre d’une enveloppe de financement d’un montant de 400 millions d’euros au maximum, grâce à une garantie que la Banque européenne d'investissement (BEI) a accordée à une filiale locale d’UniCredit SpA. La BEI accorde une garantie de 200 millions d’euros à Unicredit Bank République tchèque et Slovaquie afin de permettre à l’institution de crédit d’accorder jusqu’à deux fois plus de nouveaux prêts aux entreprises manufacturières tchèques et slovaques tournées vers l’exportation.
