Aspects environnementaux

The project is classified under Annex II of Council Directive 85/337 as amended by Directive 97/11/EC. The Bank will assess during appraisal the environmental impact of the project to ensure compliance with both the EIA and Habitats directives.

Passation des marchés

The Bank will require the Promoter to ensure that contracts for the implementation of the project are tendered in accordance with the relevant applicable EU procurement Directive (2004/17/EC), with publication of tender notices in the EU Official Journal, as and where appropriate.
