Aspects environnementaux
The project falls under Annex 1 of Directive 97/11/EC and has undergone a full EIA procedure, including public consultation. This procedure has been completed and the competent authority issued the development consent with a number of conditions, which will be implemented by the promoter.

The turn-key contract for design and execution of the power plant was published in the OJEU for tendering under a negotiated procedure.
