Description
The proposed project comprises a range of infrastructure schemes at Málaga and Alicante airports to cater for forecast increase in passenger traffic. Principal elements include construction of new passenger terminal facilities, upgrade and conversion of airside and landside infrastructure, rehabilitation of existing buildings and facilities to provide airport related business activities.
Objectifs
The project will help the development of air transport links from and to two main tourist centers located in Objective 1 areas, hence stimulating their development.

Aspects environnementaux
Compliance with EU Directive 97/11/EC, amending 85/337/EEC, will be verified during appraisal and the status of any environmental studies and public consultations will be reviewed.

Procurement procedures applied by the promoter are in compliance with EU Directives applicable to public authorities’ procurement, and national legislation.
