Description

The project consists of a loan to IFD to be on-lent through financial intermediaries to support the modernisation and capitalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps.

Objectifs

The proposed EIB loan will promote medium and long term lending for capital investment, and will contribute to strengthening the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs and mid-caps, targeting viable companies that underwent a successful financial restructuring process.
