On the margins of the 4th United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development, the European Investment Bank, the European Commission and the Luxembourg Government - alongside key partners – are convening support and private sector mobilisation through strategic investments into women’s empowerment, female-owned and led businesses and economic activities in agriculture, climate action and energy.

Fifty judges from 29 countries have made their selections across 13 categories of the One World Media Awards, including the Women’s Solutions Reporting Award, supported by the European Investment Bank (EIB). The judges, who number among the industry’s most distinguished journalists, filmmakers and media professionals, reviewed 559 entries for their overall excellence, relevance, substance, and impact.

Die Europäische Investitionsbank (EIB) hat angekündigt, mit ihren Nachhaltigkeitsanleihen künftig zwei neue soziale Ziele zu fördern: Gendergerechtigkeit und die wirtschaftliche Teilhabe von Frauen. Die Pläne wurden im Vorfeld des Internationalen Frauentages auf dem Forum der EIB-Gruppe bekannt gegeben. Auf der Veranstaltung mit dem diesjährigen Thema „Investitionen in ein nachhaltiges und sicheres Europa“ kommen Vertreter und Vertreterinnen von Finanzministerien und Führungsspitzen aus dem privaten und öffentlichen Sektor zusammen.
