Beschreibung
Global loan for the financing of mainly small- and medium-scale projects according to the Bank’s eligibility criteria, in particular in the fields of environmental protection, energy savings, infrastructure (incl. health, education and urban renewal), industry, services, tourism, or projects enhancing the knowledge-based economy in the region of Valencia.
Ziele
The proposed global loan would enhance the Bank’s support in favour of projects contributing to reinforce the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs throughout the region of Valencia, and to promote small- and medium-sized infrastructure investments of regional or EU interest.

Umweltaspekte
The finance contract to be signed between the EIB and the intermediary will include a clause whereby the intermediary undertakes an unconditional obligation to include in all the underlying contracts with final beneficiaries an obligation to comply with EC Directives and national legislation concerning the respect of the environment.

The Bank’s policy on global loans ensures that appropriate measures have been adopted in relation to tendering procedures.
