Beschreibung
The project consists of the construction of a new tramway line in the city of Alicante. Acquisition of the necessary related rolling stock is also included.
Ziele
The project will contribute to improving urban transport in Valencia and Alicante by increasing reliability, frequency and public transport service comfort.

Umweltaspekte
The effect on the urban environment is expected to be positive. The promoter is required to respect the norms imposed by the Directive 97/11/EC. In accordance with its normal procedure, the Bank will ensure that appropriate measures have been taken as regards environmental protection.
Auftragsvergabe
The promoter is required to respect the EU Directives as regards invitations to tender.
