The project supports the promoter's activities related to research, development (R&D), regulatory requirements, and commercialisation, as well as IPs of its innovative High Resolution Pathology technology.
The aim is to support the R&D activities of the Promoter, including IP, regulatory and other investments related to the development of its technology based on spatial biology, as well as the market entry of its innovative products in a clinical use and drug development context.
The concerned R&D activities are expected to be carried out in the Promoter's existing facilities or other research centers already authorised for the same purpose and would therefore not require an environmental impact assessment (EIA) under the Directive 2014/52/EU amending the EIA Directive 2011/92/EU. Full environmental details will be verified during the appraisal by the EIB for compliance of the project with the relevant European legislation.
The Bank will require that all project contracts are procured in accordance with the applicable EU procurement legislation.
