Belgium and the EIB
The EIB has worked with Belgium since 1962. We brought safe drinking water and renewable energy to homes. We backed the expansion of Antwerp’s port, one of the biggest ports in the world. We helped build a nursing home in Landen, an administrative building in Fosses-la-Ville's old castle and a green energy plant in Harelbeke. We supported the installation of dozens of wind turbines off the country’s coast.
