EIB Board of Directors Seminar with Civil Society 2018
- Date: 05 February 2018
- EIB Headquarters, 98, boulevard Konrad Adenauer L-2950
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has the pleasure to invite all interested civil society stakeholders to Luxembourg for its annual seminar between civil society and the Bank’s Board of Directors. This is the seventh event of its kind, building on fruitful exchanges during the previous seminars of January 2017, February 2016, February 2015, February 2014, February 2013 and October 2011.
The seminar will take place at the EIB’s Headquarters and will last one full day, starting at 11.00 and finishing at 17.45. It will be followed by a networking cocktail. The EIB will first present an overview of its achievements since the last meeting and outline its priorities for 2018 before moving on to two thematic sessions, not only of interest to a wide group of civil society stakeholders, but also to EIB.
The first thematic session will be entitled “Sustainable cities : towards a low-carbon future” and the second will be entitled “Gender in Operations: Financing Women’s Economic Empowerment”.
Finally, there will be a structured debate with the EIB’s Board of Directors.
The programme is available below.
If you would like to attend, please complete the registration form. Places are, however, limited and CSOs representing individuals will be given priority.
Participation is free of charge but please note that the EIB cannot reimburse travel or accommodation expenses for participants. Nevertheless, to facilitate your attendance, the EIB will organise a shuttle bus service to and from Brussels on the day of the event.
