EIB adopts new lending criteria for energy

The EIB has adopted new guidelines to reinforce its support for renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy grids. Amongst others, the Bank will increase its investment for near-zero energy buildings, for energy efficiency RDI and introduce an Emissions Performance Standard that will be applied to all fossil fuel generation projects.
